Coway Launches 'Walking-Assistance Wearable Robot'

[Financial News] Coway is unveiling a 'walking-assistance wearable robot.'
 Coway announced on the 22nd that it is accepting advance consultation reservations ahead of the official launch of its walking-assistance wearable robot in October.
 The new product is a wearable robot developed in collaboration with global robotics company WIRobotics. It supports users' walking strength to help them walk comfortably and can be used for various activities, including climbing stairs and hiking.
 The company explained that the product reduces the burden on users by adopting an ultra-lightweight 1.6 kg design and an ergonomic structure. The main unit is worn around the waist and connected to leg straps, allowing users to wear it over everyday clothing. It also supports various walking modes tailored to users' walking environments and purposes, as well as a 'Smart Walking Report' that allows users to check their walking condition and changes over time.
 Ahead of the official launch, Coway is running a special promotion for customers who receive advance consultations. Customers who apply for an advance consultation and newly rent the walking-assistance wearable robot will receive a 50% discount on their rental fees for two months.
