Park Jong-hwan, Owner of Yeonsan Myeonok, Donates 10 Million Won to Kim Young-sik Three-Child Birth Support Foundation

[Financial News] The Kim Young-sik Three-Child Birth Support Foundation said on the 22nd that Park Jong-hwan, owner of Yeonsan Myeonok in Yeonsan-dong, Busan, had donated 10 million won in birth congratulatory grants to help address the country's low birth rate and support families with multiple children.
Yeonsan Myeonok, which opened in April last year, is a restaurant specializing in naengmyeon and galbitang on Jungang-daero in Yeonje District, Busan. It has gained popularity through word of mouth since its early days.
Its signature dish is wang-galbitang, which is simmered for a long time in an iron cauldron. The restaurant is known for preparing its own broth in a cauldron made by an intangible cultural heritage artisan.
Park Jong-hwan, owner of Yeonsan Myeonok, said, "I believe having and raising children is not just a family's responsibility but a way of building the future of our society. I wanted to give back, even in a small way, for the support I have received from the community. I hope this contribution will help families raising three children and contribute to spreading a warm atmosphere that encourages childbirth."
The 10 million won donation will be distributed under the name of Park Jong-hwan, owner of Yeonsan Myeonok, as birth congratulatory grants of 2 million won each to five families that have had a third child.
In June, the Kim Young-sik Three-Child Birth Support Foundation selected 50 families that had welcomed a third child through its 17th birth congratulatory grant program and provided 2 million won per family, or 100 million won in total.
Through its 17th round of support, the foundation has provided birth congratulatory grants to a total of 977 families, with cumulative support reaching 1.9796 billion won.
The foundation has supported approximately 2 billion won in birth congratulatory grants to date, encouraging families that have welcomed a third child as they embark on a new beginning.
