Samsung Electronics Service to Provide Emergency Repairs During Chuseok Holiday; Centers to Operate on the 26th and 27th

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics Service will provide smartphone repairs and emergency on-site services for home appliances during the Chuseok holiday. As operating locations and hours will be limited during the holiday, customers should make reservations in advance and check the schedule before using the services.
Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 22nd that it would operate an emergency repair support system during the Chuseok holiday to reduce customer inconvenience.
Service centers will be closed on the 24th, the first day of the holiday, and the 25th, Chuseok Day. On the 26th and 27th, nine Weekend Care Centers nationwide will provide inspection and repair services for smartphones, tablets, and wearable products to customers with advance reservations.
The operating centers are Samsung Gangnam and Hongdae in Seoul; Bucheon Jung-dong, Seongnam, and Yongin Guseong in Gyeonggi Province; Daejeon; Gwangju Gwangsan; Daegu Namdaegu; and Busan Dongnae. Reservations can be made through the Samsung Electronics Service website or contact center.
The centers will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Samsung Gangnam Service Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Eleven Baro Service stores located within Samsung Stores will also provide services such as basic smartphone inspections and protective-film application on the 26th and 27th. Detailed operating hours are available on the Samsung Electronics Service website.
Contact center counselors and on-site service engineers will work under an emergency standby system during the holiday. On-site service will be provided when urgent inspections are needed, such as when a refrigerator's freezing or refrigeration function breaks down.
Samsung Electronics Service will post product-specific self-diagnosis methods, frequently asked questions, and ways for customers to resolve issues themselves on its website. It will also operate a consultation service through an AI chatbot.
