[Financial News] A citizen traveling across Wonhyo Bridge early in the morning spotted a man with a leg over the railing and immediately reported him to police, helping save his life.
On the 20th, a post titled "I Reported a Possible Bridge Jumper" was uploaded to the online community Bobaedream.
The author, Person A, said that at around 4 a.m. that day, they spotted a man who had stopped on the bridge and was looking toward the Hangang River.
Person A alerted the passenger and slowly drove along while keeping an eye on the man. They explained, "I personally saw him put a leg over the railing."
Person A immediately called the police. After confirming that two police cars and two rescue boats had been dispatched, they returned home.
Afterward, Person A was contacted by police and described the man's appearance and clothing. However, police later told them, "Only white shoes were found at the scene."
Fortunately, about one hour and 40 minutes after the report was filed, Person A received word that the man had been safely rescued.
