[Financial News]  Artist Kim Gyu-sam, who has serialized webtoons such as 'Vigilante' and 'Cheonrima Mart,' revealed that he had a difficult time after the Hanwoo beef sets he sent to his studio colleagues ahead of Chuseok arrived in poor condition.
On the 21st, Kim shared photos of the beef set on the WEBTOON community, saying, "I gave out 169,000-won Hanwoo beef sets to the members of my studio as holiday gifts, and this is what was delivered."
The photos showed Hanwoo beef that was mostly fat, along with discolored beef.
Kim said, "The recipients were put in an awkward position because the packages contained lumps of inedible fat and beef that had become discolored after the vacuum seal came undone. Eventually, they had to let me know. I sent them through Naver Shopping, but the seller did not even provide an explanation. When I tried to contact customer service, the chatbot just kept sending me around in circles, which only made me more frustrated."
He added, "It reminded me of the cash gift set from Cheonrima Mart, so I had a little laugh to myself," and said, "From now on, I decided not to give out gifts like this and just send money instead."
