South Korea's men's 800m relay team, which had been aiming for a second consecutive gold medal at the Games, won bronze in 7:06.76.
South Korea won gold in this event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, becoming the first team in Asian Games history to top the podium in a swimming team event. Although it fell short of a second straight title, South Korea reached the podium at two consecutive Games.
