GenON and Optonix Approved for Preliminary KOSDAQ Listing Review

[Financial News] GenON, an artificial intelligence (AI) integrated platform company, and Optonix, a precision-instrument manufacturer, have passed the preliminary review for listing on the KOSDAQ market.
The KOSDAQ Market Division of the Korea Exchange (KRX) said on the 21st that it had approved the preliminary listing reviews for GenON and Optonix following deliberation and a resolution by the KOSDAQ Market Listing Committee. Both companies are pursuing general listings.
Founded in 2017, GenON develops and supplies software. Its main businesses are the GenOS AI integrated platform and AI consulting. Last year, the company recorded revenue of 11.7 billion won, operating profit of 700 million won, and net income of 1.1 billion won. Samsung Securities is serving as its lead manager.
Optonix is a precision-instrument manufacturer established in 2004. It produces components for ring laser gyroscopes (RLGs) and fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOGs). On a consolidated basis, the company recorded revenue of 25.6 billion won, operating profit of 3.6 billion won, and net income of 2.9 billion won last year. Korea Investment & Securities is serving as its lead manager.
