Kookmin University Hosts Startup Networking Day to Discuss Investment and Business Cooperation

[Financial News]  Kookmin University brought together startups, investment institutions, and startup support organizations to share strategies for attracting investment and discuss potential new investments and joint business opportunities.
Kookmin University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation said on the 21st that it held the 2026 KMU Startup Networking Day at THE PLAZA Seoul, Autograph Collection, in Seoul, on the 15th. About 70 representatives from 35 companies and institutions attended, including startups founded by Kookmin University faculty and students, subsidiaries of Kookmin University Technology Holdings, Campus Town tenant companies, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT), and venture capital firms.
The event covered strategies for attracting startup investment, enhancing corporate value, and securing overseas venture investment. Kim Ji-cheol, co-CEO of Mineta Brook Ventures, lectured on "Strategies for Attracting Startup Investment and Enhancing Corporate Value," while co-CEO Koo Tae-hoon spoke on "Global Investment Market Trends and Strategies for Attracting Overseas Venture Investment."
During the networking session that followed, participating companies shared their business models and operational experiences and discussed potential cooperation, including new investments and joint businesses.
Son Jin-sik, Kookmin University's vice president for planning and head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "We have strengthened our support system across the entire cycle, from identifying startups to helping them secure investment and grow." He added, "We will continue serving as a bridge connecting universities, companies, and the investment market."
