[Announcement] 2026 Legislative and Policy Proposal Contest

'First-Class Economic Newspaper' Financial News and the National Assembly Research Service (NARS) are hosting the 2026 Legislative and Policy Proposal Contest. One of the National Assembly's most important duties is to introduce and pass legislative bills. If fresh ideas identified in everyday life are developed into legislation and policies proposed by lawmakers, our quality of life will improve significantly. We look forward to your participation. Take on the challenge.
■Eligible participants: No eligibility restrictions (individuals or teams of up to three people)
■Proposal areas: Establishing a universal basic safety-net system, fostering future industries and responding to the AI era, and strengthening K-culture competitiveness
■Submission office: National Assembly Research Service (NARS) (email: [email protected])
■Submission period: September 1–30, 2026 (3 p.m.)
■Announcement: Results will be posted on the NARS website and social media on October 21, 2026; award recipients will be notified individually at a later date
■Awards
-Grand Prize (Speaker of the National Assembly Award), 1 team: A certificate and 2 million won in prize money
-Best Award (Head of the National Assembly Research Service Award and Financial News Chairman's Award), 2 teams: A certificate and 1 million won in prize money each
-Outstanding Proposal Award, 10 teams: A certificate and 500,000 won in prize money each
