[Financial News] LF's menswear brand MAESTRO is strengthening its position as a formalwear brand as it marks the 40th anniversary of its launch.
According to LF on the 21st, MAESTRO is launching the 'Rome Suit,' which incorporates its formalwear-specific 'Rome Fit' pattern.
The Rome Suit is a formalwear line targeting men in their 20s and 30s. It features shoulder pads and reinforcing structures while sharply defining the waist. Its chest circumference is designed at 105 cm, making it the slimmest among MAESTRO suits, and it is finished with an 8.5-cm wide notched lapel.
The suit uses high-end Italian fabrics from ZEGNA, Loro Piana and Colombo. It also incorporates MAESTRO's proprietary 'Forward Pitch System' to balance the upper body and reduce fatigue when worn.
MAESTRO is also expanding its formalwear services. Customers using its made-to-measure (MTM) service can select the fabric, buttons, lining and silhouette, with their formalwear made and delivered in about two weeks. Since June, the brand has also operated a shirt MTM service that allows customers to choose the fabric, collar and cuffs. At major department-store locations nationwide, customers purchasing formalwear are offered free rentals of tuxedos and suits for wedding photo shoots.
Demand for formalwear is also rising. From last month through mid-month this month, MAESTRO's sales of 2026 fall/winter (FW) formal suits rose 26% year on year. Over the same period, MTM suit sales increased 15%.
A MAESTRO representative said, "Formalwear has recently established itself as suits that reflect individual tastes, raising the bar for selection criteria. We will strengthen our position as a premium total formalwear brand."
