"Fired from SK hynix over drinking?" Four new hires dismissed for drinking during training

[Financial News]  Four new employees at SK hynix, known as a "dream workplace" because of its generous performance bonuses, were fired after drinking alcohol during a training period when it was prohibited.
According to an SBS Biz report on the 19th, four employees who recently joined SK hynix and participated in training for new technical office workers were dismissed as a disciplinary measure for violating training regulations.
The dismissed employees reportedly violated the training regulations, including the ban on drinking during the training period.
Two employees of SK Group affiliates who violated the rules along with them were also subject to disciplinary action and reportedly received pay cuts.
The company reportedly asked those involved to explain the circumstances and took lenient measures, including giving them an opportunity to correct their misconduct, before deciding on the final disciplinary action.
An SK hynix official told SBS Biz, "We cannot confirm personal information related to personnel matters," and declined to disclose specific disciplinary details.
