'Direct from Haenam to Incheon International Airport'... Haenam-Incheon International Airport express bus service to begin Oct. 1

【Financial News, Haenam=Hwang Tae-jong】An express bus service running directly from Haenam County to Incheon International Airport will begin in October, greatly improving transportation convenience for local residents.
 According to Haenam County on the 21st, a new express bus route connecting Haenam County with Incheon International Airport will begin full-scale operations on Oct. 1 to improve residents' access to the airport.
 The route will be operated by Kumho Express. It will run once daily from Haenam County via Yeongam County to Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and Incheon Airport Terminal 2.
 The outbound bus will depart Haenam County at 12:05 a.m., arrive in Yeongam County at 12:35 a.m., reach Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 at 4:35 a.m., and arrive at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 at 5:00 a.m. On the return trip, it will leave Incheon Airport Terminal 2 at 7:50 a.m., stop at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 at 8:15 a.m., arrive in Yeongam County at 12:30 p.m., and reach Haenam County at 1:00 p.m.
 Myeong Hyeon-gwan, governor of Haenam County, said, "Until now, residents traveling from Haenam County to Incheon International Airport had to first travel to nearby areas such as Gwangju and then take an airport bus or transfer to public transportation. With the launch of this route, they will be able to travel from Haenam County to Incheon International Airport without making a transfer, which is expected to greatly improve transportation convenience for residents."
 He added, "In particular, the service will depart from Haenam County late at night and arrive at Incheon International Airport early in the morning, which is expected to make travel more convenient for residents taking international flights in the morning."
 Meanwhile, the fare for the Haenam County-Incheon International Airport express bus has been set at 63,300 won in line with the 9% increase in intercity and express bus fares announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), effective Oct. 1. The late-night fare is 75,900 won.
