[Financial News] Daehong Communications held the awards ceremony for the 43rd Daehong Creative Award (DCA) and announced the final winning entries.
According to Daehong Communications on the 21st, more than 2,000 advertising and marketing ideas were submitted to this year's DCA, a significant increase from the more than 1,300 entries submitted last year. A total of 11 teams—including four Gold Award winners and seven Silver Award winners—were honored, receiving a combined 19 million won in prize money.
This year, four entries won awards in the visual category, including package design and merchandise (MD), while three were recognized in the customer experience category.
In the outdoor media category, Uniqlo's "The Moment You Get Closer to Coolness, AIRism" won the Gold Award. The idea used the space between the double doors at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil to connect the moment people move from the hot outdoors into a cool interior with the comfort of AIRism.
Based on real-world brand briefs, participants proposed ideas in five categories: visual content, video advertising, digital campaigns, offline customer experiences, and the use of outdoor media and spaces. In the final round, the winning entries were selected through presentation-based judging by advertising professionals and outside experts.
Kim Deok-hee, CEO of Daehong Communications, said, "Even in an environment where technology is advancing rapidly, it is ultimately human ideas that ask new questions and move people's hearts. We hope you will create new possibilities in advertising and marketing based on your experience at DCA."
