Goodoc to Provide Information on Hospitals and Clinics Open During Chuseok Holiday

Goodoc announced on the 21st that it will provide information through its app on the operating status of hospitals and clinics nationwide from the 24th to the 27th.
Users can check the locations and operating hours of hospitals and clinics providing care during the holiday through the app's 'Hospitals Providing Care During Chuseok Holiday' pop-up. Goodoc provides information on 21 medical departments, while high-demand specialties such as pediatrics, internal medicine and otolaryngology are highlighted through separate pop-up banners.
By entering their symptoms or selecting a medical department in the Goodoc app, users can check whether nearby hospitals and clinics are open and view their consultation hours. For hospitals affiliated with Goodoc, users can also register for appointments and make reservations through the app. The 'Register in Advance' feature allows users to check their position in the waiting queue in real time, reducing the time they spend waiting at the hospital.
Goodoc will also offer 24-hour telemedicine services during the holiday period. After selecting their symptoms and a medical professional in the app, users can receive consultations through a video or voice call. Once the consultation is complete, they can send the prescription to a nearby pharmacy, request that the medication be prepared and pick it up in person.
Goodoc CEO Jang Young-joo said, "People often have difficulty finding medical institutions that are open during the holidays," adding, "We will provide services so that people can access medical care easily and conveniently from anywhere in the country."
Goodoc is a subsidiary of digital healthcare company Carelabs and operates services including hospital and clinic registration, reservations and telemedicine.
