[Financial News] As demand for fall/winter (FW) fashion gains momentum, KT Alpha Shopping is expanding its private-label (PB) and licensed brands (LB) while increasing its fashion programming.
According to industry sources on the 21st, KT Alpha Shopping has selected 'LE TROIS,' 'De Kim by Kim Seo Ryong,' 'Rodier,' and 'SUPERIOR' as its four strategic fashion brands for this FW season and will introduce them sequentially starting in October. Each brand will be featured on flagship fashion programs hosted by shopping hosts Sujeong Lee, Choi Hyun-woo, and Lee Jin-a.
Fashion sales have also been rising recently. From September 11 to 17, fashion-category GMV increased 13.5% year over year, while airtime grew 15.2%. Compared with the previous week, GMV and airtime rose 13.3% and 11.6%, respectively.
KT Alpha Shopping's private-label brand 'LE TROIS' will offer knitwear, cashmere products, and more with actress Myung Se-bin as its model. 'De Kim by Kim Seo Ryong,' created in collaboration with designer Kim Seo Ryong, features cardigans, outerwear, and goose-down items. Rodier, a knitwear brand that originated in France in 1852, will launch an exclusive lineup on KT Alpha Shopping in October, while SUPERIOR plans to introduce an exclusive golfwear line.
KT Alpha Shopping will hold '2026 FW Fashion Week' in mid-October and devote additional airtime to fashion programming. During the event, customers will receive benefits such as discounts, reward points, and prizes, along with the opportunity to pre-order new products.
Baek Seon-ju, head of KT alpha's T-commerce Business Division, said, "During this FW season, we will strengthen synergies between competitive PB and LB brands and our flagship fashion programs to provide customers with differentiated products and shopping experiences while continuing to enhance the competitiveness of our fashion brands."
