"Promise Me~" Fin.K.L to Return as a Full Group After 21 Years

[Financial News]  Fin.K.L., a leading first-generation girl group, is returning with all four members after 21 years.
According to Yonhap News and other reports on the 21st, entertainment agency and production company GEMSTONE E&M said, "Lee Hyori, Ock Joo-hyun, Lee Jin, and Sung Yu Ri have reunited under the name Fin.K.L. We are preparing for Fin.K.L.'s full-group activities with them."
This marks Fin.K.L.'s first full-group activities under the team name in 21 years, since the release of the 2005 digital single album "Forever Fin.K.L."
Fin.K.L. previously reunited after 14 years through JTBC's entertainment program "Camping Club" in 2019. The group made headlines by releasing the new song "Like the Song Remains" and topping music charts. At the time, however, the reunion was closer to a project built around the program. This time, the group will pursue ongoing activities rather than a one-off project.
GEMSTONE E&M stated, "This is a new beginning for Fin.K.L. to pursue ongoing activities under its name, going beyond a one-off reunion."
Fin.K.L., which debuted in 1998, earned widespread affection by releasing numerous hit songs, including "Blue Rain," "To My Boyfriend," "Forever Love," "White," and "Now." Alongside S.E.S., the group was a leading act during the golden age of first-generation girl groups.
Since then, Lee Hyori has built her career as a solo singer and television personality, Ock Joo-hyun as a musical theater actress, and Lee Jin and Sung Yu Ri as actresses.
Fin.K.L. plans to unveil new songs and project activities in stages with GEMSTONE E&M, which is overseeing the planning and management of the group's activities.
