"Expanding access to the European market"—Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) discusses cooperation with ambassadors from 18 EU countries

[Financial News] The Korea Importers Association met with ambassadors of European Union member states to South Korea to discuss expanding Korea-EU trade and economic cooperation.
According to industry sources on the 21st, KOIMA held a "Meeting with Ambassadors of EU Member States" on the 18th at Chavit Cuisine at Some Sevit in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Ugo Astuto, the European Union ambassador to South Korea, ambassadors to South Korea from 18 EU member states, and Yoon Young-mi, president of KOIMA.
The meeting was organized to expand exchanges between South Korea and EU member states and explore new business cooperation opportunities amid growing uncertainty in the global trade environment. Participants discussed ways to increase Korea-EU trade and support Korean companies seeking to enter European markets.
KOIMA plans to continue exchanges with the embassies of EU member states through events including the 17th Importers' Day scheduled for December, delegation visits, business forums, and business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking sessions. It will also support Korean companies' entry into European markets and help expand trade with EU companies.
Yoon Young-mi, president of KOIMA, said, "As global trade uncertainty persists, mutual trust and solidarity are increasingly important. We look forward to creating new business opportunities through continued exchanges with EU member states."
