Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance Hold First Joint CSR Activity Since Integration Announcement

[Financial News] Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance have launched their first joint corporate social responsibility activity since announcing their integration plan. Employees from both companies worked together to tend green spaces at Seoul Children's Grand Park, contributing to environmental protection and the promotion of biodiversity.
Tongyang Life Insurance said on the 21st that it had conducted a garden-tending volunteer activity with ABL Life Insurance at Seoul Children's Grand Park in Gwangjin District, Seoul, on the 18th.
The activity was attended by 15 employees from each company, for a total of 30 participants. It was the first joint CSR activity since the two companies announced their integration plan last month, providing an opportunity for employees to interact and cooperate.
During the volunteer work conducted with Seoul Green Trust, the employees spent approximately two hours improving the green spaces around the park's "Secret Garden." They removed weeds that had grown thickly over the summer and planted new flowering plants in the garden.
By planting flowers and tending the garden themselves, the employees helped create a more pleasant green space for the local community. The company explained that the activity went beyond simple environmental maintenance, serving as an opportunity to share the importance of responding to the climate crisis and preserving biodiversity.
A Tongyang Life Insurance official said, "This volunteer activity is meaningful because it marks the first step toward Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance creating social value together for the local community," adding, "The two companies will continue to work together to carry out various CSR activities that can provide tangible benefits to local communities and the environment."
