Dong-A University Professor Jeong Eun-woo Selected for Ottogi Ham Tae-ho Foundation Support Program

[Financial News] Dong-A University said on the 21st that Jeong Eun-woo, a professor in its Department of Food and Nutrition, had been selected for the Punglim FACULTY OPUS 1 FUND, a support program for new faculty members run by the Ottogi Ham Tae-ho Foundation.
The Punglim FACULTY OPUS 1 FUND supports new faculty members in establishing a stable foundation for research. Through the program, Professor Jeong will develop a delivery system that can regulate the functions of food materials in response to temperature changes. He will then use the system to study ways to control the structure and properties of high-protein foods.
Professor Jeong said, "I will use this support as a stepping stone to continue advancing research in food science and produce outstanding results that make a meaningful contribution to the food industry."
Professor Jeong, who earned his doctoral degree from Hanyang University's Department of Food and Nutrition, completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Food Science at Cornell University before joining Dong-A University's Department of Food and Nutrition last year.
