Kim Seong-tae, Viichan and More to Take Part... SOOP to Host 'Overwatch Myeolmangjeon'

[Financial News] SOOP will host the '2026 Overwatch Myeolmangjeon Invitational,' where 24 game and virtual streamers will compete for a total prize pool of 20 million won.
SOOP said on the 21st that the tournament, featuring Overwatch, the team-based shooter game provided by Nexon, will take place from the 22nd to the 24th.
'Myeolmangjeon' is SOOP's original content in which streamers form teams and compete across various games. For this invitational, SOOP has directly invited streamers active in Overwatch and arranged the matchups.
The participants include game streamers Kim Seong-tae, Oa, Kang Man-sik and Park Sajang, as well as virtual streamers Viichan, Jingburger and Han-gyeol. A total of 24 streamers will be divided into four teams to compete.
The matches starting at 7 p.m. on the 22nd and 23rd will be played in a round-robin format. Each match will be a best-of-three series featuring the Control, Escort and Hybrid modes. The final will begin at 5 p.m. on the 24th and will be a best-of-seven series, with the Control, Escort, Hybrid and Free-for-All modes played in sequence. The total prize pool is 20 million won, with 15 million won going to the winning team and 5 million won to the runner-up.
