IPARK Hyundai Development to Offer IPARK Mudeungsan Sky Foret in Dong District, Gwangju, in October

[Financial News] IPARK Hyundai Development said on the 21st that it will offer IPARK Mudeungsan Sky Foret, a large-scale branded complex, for sale in October in the Hak-dong area of Dong District, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City.
The complex, being developed through the Hak-dong District 4 Housing Redevelopment Project, will comprise three basement levels, up to 29 above-ground floors, 19 buildings and a total of 2,299 households. Excluding units allocated to association members and rental units, 1,387 units with exclusive areas of 59–135 square meters will be offered for general sale. The general-sale units will range from small- and medium-sized layouts popular with end users to relatively rare large-sized units.
The complex is located in a prime area of Gwangju's old downtown, with convenient access to transportation, education, medical care and everyday amenities. Namgwangju Station on Gwangju Metro Line 1 is within walking distance. The station is also scheduled to become a transfer station for Gwangju Metro Line 2, which is scheduled to open in 2027, creating a dual-line station-area premium. Several schools, including Bangnim Elementary School, and Bongseon-dong's private academy district are nearby. The complex is also close to major general hospitals, including Chonnam National University Hospital and Chosun University Hospital, providing excellent access to medical services.
The complex also stands out for its pleasant natural surroundings and specialized landscaping. Mudeungsan National Park lies to the east, while Gwangjucheon flows directly in front, creating a mountain-backed, water-facing setting. The development will feature a large artificial lake, a water-themed space and a Grand Plaza lawn square. A loop walking trail connected to the promenade along Gwangjucheon will also be created.
High-end features befitting a landmark development have also been incorporated. The complex offers predominantly south-facing, four-bay slab-style layouts in all units, with some exceptions, as well as ample parking at 1.61 spaces per household. It will introduce the 'Mudeungsan View Dual Sky Community' at two locations, a first in Gwangju, including a Sky Lounge and a Sky Book Lounge. Other community facilities will include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and indoor golf practice range.
Meanwhile, as the complex is being supplied in an unregulated area, residents of Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City aged 19 or older—including household heads, household members and homeowners—will be eligible to apply for first-priority housing subscriptions. The model home is scheduled to open in October in Nongseong-dong, Seo-gu, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City.
