Busan education office: "Check after-school and care services in real time in one place"

[Financial News] The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education announced on the 21st that it had officially launched and would operate the Elementary After-School and Care Integrated Platform.
The platform allows users to conveniently access elementary after-school and care services in one place, while parents can check students' attendance in real time.
Until now, the office's after-school and care services had been divided among several systems, including the Busan Elementary After-School and Care Support Center, the After-School Program Work Support System, the After-School Program Review Support System, and the Neulbom School service.
As a result, students, parents, and school staff responsible for related tasks had to log in to each system with separate accounts. Parents also faced difficulties checking the attendance and current participation status of children enrolled in after-school and care programs immediately.
The new platform integrates the previously scattered services and allows users to access key functions with a single ID.
It also introduces student attendance tracking and real-time notifications for parents. When an after-school program instructor records a student's attendance, a real-time notification is sent to the parent through the app. This allows parents to immediately check whether their child is participating in the program and is expected to ease their concerns about their child's safety after school.
The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education plans to continue improving the platform by reflecting user feedback.
Kim Seok-jun, the Busan superintendent of education, said, "We will continue developing the integrated platform by actively reflecting feedback from the field so that students, parents, and schools can all use these services conveniently and safely."
