From Iconic Drama Scenes to Travel Destinations... K-Drama Experience Exhibition at HiKR Ground

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced on the 21st that it will hold a K-drama experience exhibition through November 19 at HiKR Ground, a Korean tourism promotional center in Jung-gu, Seoul, together with Studio Dragon.
Under the theme "Scenes Become Travel Destinations," the exhibition showcases iconic scenes and memorable lines, OSTs, filming props, and filming locations from around 40 productions, including Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, Hotel del Luna, Crash Landing on You, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Queen of Tears, and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
Visitors can take part in interactive activities such as completing a script by entering lines from the dramas themselves and collecting postcards featuring memorable lines and scenes, record-shaped pieces, and prop stickers.
When visitors scan the items they collect at the exhibition at a kiosk, it recommends travel itineraries to regional cities based on their preferences and provides tickets containing related travel information.
The KTO is also operating a special travel promotion featuring K-drama filming locations in partnership with global online travel agencies, based on the recommended itineraries. It plans to offer related travel products so visitors can actually visit the filming locations featured in the dramas.
Baek Man-seong, head of the KTO's Hallyu Content Team, said, "This exhibition focuses on connecting K-dramas to the actual places featured in them, rather than stopping at simply consuming K-dramas. Through the special promotion of travel products linked to the exhibition, we plan to help turn interest in K-dramas into actual visits to regional cities."
