"The Democratic Party Retaliates Like Gangsters... Prince Complex? It Reeks of Staleness," Han Dong-hoon Blasts the Party

[Financial News] The Democratic Party of Korea criticized independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon as "Joseon's No. 1 attention seeker with a prince complex" after Kim Seung-Won, a former nominee for Minister of Justice, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy. Han, who had led efforts to raise allegations involving Kim, hit back by calling the criticism "stale-smelling talk."
On the 21st, Han wrote on Facebook, "The Democratic Party is making stale-smelling remarks, talking about a prince complex because I fought against Oppa's poison lobbying. And it is doing so as the Democratic Party's official position," he said sharply.
In a written briefing the previous day, Democratic Party spokesperson Cho Gye-won criticized Han, saying, "He is busy engaging in a carbon-copy political performance that simply mimics Yoon Suk Yeol's blustering persona. Joseon's No. 1 attention seeker with a prince complex is an added bonus."
Cho Gye-won, the Democratic Party spokesperson, also said at a briefing that day, "What the people want is an investigation into crime suspect Han Dong-hoon. We must determine how an internal prosecution document that never even reached the court came into Han Dong-hoon's possession."
Cho continued, "The person who once directed the Ministry of Justice is now holding the investigation records from that time and manipulating them to hunt people down," and called on police to investigate, saying, "Secure Han's phone and storage media, and preserve his communications records."
In response, Han lashed out, saying, "Democratic Party oppas, just take care of your 'Democratic Party room-salon little-sister princess.' Aren't you pandering to and groveling before Princess Yang Su-jin because you're afraid she might expose even a word about her relationship with Kim Seung-Won and other matters? You should be ashamed."
He went on to emphasize, "There has been absolutely no apology or reflection toward the people. Democratic Party governments, go ahead and carry out that gangster-style retaliation as much as you like. I will proudly accept the retaliation I receive for doing what must be done for the people."
