[Financial News] KB Securities announced on the 21st that it launched Kkaebio, a service that analyzes customers' investment performance, on the KB M-able (Marvel) mobile trading system (MTS) on the 18th.
Kkaebio uses baseball statistics to present customers' stock-selling performance through indicators such as batting average, slugging percentage and profit-loss ratio.
For example, if six out of 10 sell trades are profitable, the batting average is displayed as .600. Based on factors such as returns and profits at the time of sale, profitable trades are classified as singles, doubles, triples or home runs, while loss-making trades are recorded as strikeouts to calculate the slugging percentage.
The service also provides a profit-loss ratio, calculated by dividing average profits by average losses, allowing users to compare the size of their gains and losses. It also offers an Overall Investment Performance Score that combines batting average, slugging percentage and profit-loss ratio, helping customers review their trading patterns and investment performance.
The revamped M-able Community has expanded beyond its previous structure, which focused on posts for individual stocks, to enable users to share various information and experiences based on their investment interests.
In particular, five themed communities have been created—Domestic Stock Talk, U.S. Stock Talk, Asset Growth Know-how, PRIME CLUB and Pension Lounge—so investors with similar interests can freely exchange opinions and experiences.
The company has also expanded its expert content. Major domestic asset management companies and university finance societies will participate by providing content featuring market analysis and investment ideas. KB Securities plans to broaden participation to experts from various fields and offer a wider range of investment insights.
Through Kkaebio and M-able Community, KB Securities plans to help customers review their investment performance while accessing diverse information and investment experiences to assess their investment approaches.
The company will also hold a customer event to commemorate the launch of the two services.
Lee Hong-gu, CEO of KB Securities, said, "Kkaebio and M-able Community, which we are introducing this time, are services that expand the digital investment experience by allowing customers to review their investment performance and access a variety of investment information. We will continue to strengthen investment information, services and content that help customers manage their assets, based on a convenient and stable digital platform."
