[Financial News] Actress and YouTuber Lee Hae-in is ending the exposure-focused content on her piano channel, which has 1.4 million subscribers, and will run it in a new direction.
On the 20th, Lee Hae-in uploaded a video titled "Why Did I Abandon a Channel with 1.4 Million Subscribers?" on her YouTube channel, 'Leezy.'
Lee Hae-in gained 1.4 million subscribers by posting videos of herself playing the piano in revealing outfits, but all of those videos have now been made private. She said, "I am planning to wrap up the piano channel that had 1.4 million subscribers. This does not mean I am getting rid of the channel entirely. I think those who enjoyed watching me play the piano in sexy outfits may feel disappointed. I want to tell you that I am grateful."
She also explained why she decided to change the channel's direction. Lee Hae-in said, "This is a channel that contains my joys and sorrows, but for the past year or two, I have been wondering how long I could maintain the sexy concept." She added that she plans to introduce paid content featuring the stories of small business owners.
Lee Hae-in said she wants to use her channel to help promote other people. She said, "I am grateful that I have been able to grow while receiving so much love. I began thinking that I wanted to create a channel focused on others. There are many people whose products are excellent but who cannot sell them because they have not been able to promote them, as well as people who are like hidden gems and have yet to see the spotlight. If I gather their earnestness with my own and share it with 1.4 million subscribers, I believe we can achieve truly good results. I received more love than I deserved, and it was a happy time. Just as I stood on my own feet at the beginning, I will reach out my hand to you, so I hope we can build something great together."
Meanwhile, Lee Hae-in debuted as an advertising model in 2005 and appeared in dramas including 'Golden Fish' and 'Five Fingers.' She became known through the tvN variety show 'Fun TV Rollercoaster' and began working actively as a YouTuber in 2020. Last year, she revealed that she had purchased a building worth in the 4 billion won range.
