KOLON FnC’s BOLDEST to Sponsor Uniforms for South Korea’s National Skills Team

[Financial News] BOLDEST, the workwear brand of KOLON FnC, will officially sponsor the uniforms of South Korea’s national team athletes competing in the 48th Shanghai WorldSkills Competition.
According to KOLON FnC on the 21st, South Korea’s delegation will send 56 competitors across 50 occupations to this year’s competition, which will be held in Shanghai, China, from the 22nd to the 27th.
BOLDEST sponsored training wear for eight competitors in eight occupations at the 47th WorldSkills Competition, held in Lyon, France, in 2024. In June, it signed an official uniform sponsorship agreement with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea and expanded its support to all national team athletes starting with this competition.
BOLDEST directly designed and produced the official uniforms and training wear for athletes in machine design CAD, automobile body repair, robot systems integration, interior decoration, furniture making, landscape gardening, and other occupations.
The uniform collection consists of four items: jackets, short-sleeved T-shirts, pants, and caps. To accommodate Shanghai’s hot weather, BOLDEST used moisture-wicking and quick-drying materials, the high-density cooling fiber PORFE, and highly abrasion-resistant CORDURA.
The designs incorporate modern reinterpretations of the geon, gon, gam, and ri trigrams from the Taegeukgi. Retroreflective prints improve visibility, while BOLDEST’s signature colors, yellow and black, were also used.
Yang Sun-mi, a director at BOLDEST, said, "We will support South Korea’s national team athletes so they can focus on their events despite the local climate and high-intensity conditions."
