KB Kookmin Bank, SAP Korea Sign Business Agreement on ERP Embedded Finance

[Financial News] KB Kookmin Bank said on the 21st that it had signed a "business agreement to jointly build an enterprise resource planning (ERP) embedded finance ecosystem" with SAP Korea on the 18th.
The signing ceremony, held at KB Kookmin Bank's new headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, was attended by Lee Hwan-ju, president of KB Kookmin Bank, and Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, along with other officials from both companies.
The agreement is intended to link SAP Korea's ERP solutions with KB Kookmin Bank's embedded finance services, creating an environment where corporate customers can handle financial tasks directly on their ERP screens without switching to a separate app.
SAP Korea is SAP's Korean subsidiary. SAP leads the global ERP market and supports business innovation among Korean companies through digital transformation solutions spanning enterprise resource management, cloud, data and artificial intelligence.
Under the agreement, the two companies will build EPR-linked embedded finance services and strengthen their integration with corporate transaction banking. This will make financial tasks more convenient for companies using SAP Korea, while joint marketing leveraging their respective corporate customer bases will help them attract new customers.
