AhnLab Targets Indonesia with AI-Powered Security

[Financial News] AhnLab is stepping up its push into Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia, by leveraging AhnLab AI Plus, an integrated brand that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance security operations across the board, from threat analysis to response.
AhnLab said on the 21st that it participated in IndoSec 2026, a cybersecurity exhibition held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from the 15th to the 16th. IndoSec is a major Indonesian security event primarily serving the public and financial sectors, and AhnLab took part for the second consecutive year after making its debut last year.
At the event, AhnLab showcased AI-based security solutions centered on its integrated brand, AhnLab AI Plus. During the exhibition, about 400 people from large corporations and the financial IT, manufacturing and mining industries visited AhnLab's booth to experience its solutions and discuss potential cooperation.
AhnLab explained that its Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), which uses multiple AI agents, drew attention. AhnLab's EDR analyzes detected threats through multiple AI agents and provides reports on the attacker's intent and context, as well as the appropriate response. By compiling relevant information from AhnLab's security data, it identifies the significance of threats and helps security personnel make quick decisions and respond.
AhnLab also introduced AhnLab XDR, a software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based threat analysis platform; AhnLab CPS PLUS, an IT and operational technology (OT)-converged cyber-physical systems (CPS) security platform; AhnLab TIP, a next-generation threat intelligence platform; and AhnLab MDS, a sandbox-based intelligent threat response solution.
Choi Jeong-ui, head of AhnLab's Global Business Division, said, "Drawing on the technology and customer experience we have accumulated in Korea and global markets such as Japan, China and the Middle East, we will promote the competitiveness of AhnLab AI Plus in Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia."
