[Financial News] bb.q Chicken has donated more than 18,000 chickens to local communities so far this year.
According to Genesis BBQ Group on the 21st, bb.q Chicken delivered 1,000 chickens this month to children, teenagers and older adults nationwide through social contribution activities such as the "Visiting Chicken Relay," "Chicken University Good Deeds Donation," and "Chicken Relay with Franchisees."
As a result, the cumulative number of chickens donated by bb.q Chicken to local communities this year has topped approximately 18,000.
Ahead of Chuseok, bb.q Chicken conducted the "Visiting Chicken Relay," personally visiting locations to deliver chicken. The company visited nine sites, including Wonju Youth Shelter, Icheon Youth Shelter and Yongin Youth Shelter, where it served freshly cooked chicken and spent warm time with the children.
The charitable effort also extended to the Gyeonggi region through Chicken University. Through its "Good Deeds Donation" initiative, franchisees and members trained at Chicken University directly prepare and donate chicken, allowing bb.q Chicken to consistently provide meals to people in need in local communities.
bb.q Chicken also continued its charitable activities in partnership with the Korean Red Cross. The company delivered chicken to group homes, youth welfare centers and youth shelters, as well as senior welfare centers and administrative welfare centers.
bb.q Chicken franchisees nationwide also contributed in their respective communities. Through the "Chicken Relay with Franchisees," the head office supplies fresh chicken meat, while franchisees cook and deliver the meals to local children's centers, comprehensive welfare centers, child-care facilities, nursing homes, care centers for older adults living alone and community service centers.
A bb.q Chicken official said, "We will continue our activities to share warmth with local communities up close."
