JB Financial Group Wins Excellence Award at 2026 Korea IR Awards

The Korea IR Awards is an annual program in which the Korea Investor Relations Association selects and honors companies that have contributed to the sound development of the capital market through their investor-relations activities, based on broad feedback including recommendations and evaluations from institutional investors. After being named an "IR Excellent Company" last year, JB Financial Group won the Excellence Award this year, an honor given to the top four listed companies, marking its second consecutive win.
JB Financial Group's strong market evaluation was driven largely by its market-friendly shareholder-return policy and Chairman Kim Ki Hong's management philosophy, which emphasizes two-way communication. Since taking office in 2019, Kim has personally participated in quarterly earnings presentation conference calls, answering questions directly from investors and analysts and actively communicating with the market.
In addition, the group has built strong trust by holding an annual "Capital Markets Day" attended by key executives and the board of directors, with its top management directly engaging with the market.
This genuine communication has led to a shareholder-return policy. Based on an industry-leading ROE, JB Financial Group raised this year's shareholder-return ratio to 50%, up from its previous plan. In addition to meeting the requirements for high-dividend companies, the group switched to an "equal quarterly dividend system" beginning in the first quarter, laying the foundation for providing investors with stable cash returns.
The group's transparent disclosures and companywide shareholder-friendly initiatives have also received broad recognition externally.
