LG Uplus announced on the 21st that it had conducted an overseas exploration program in Tokyo with 12 outstanding participants from its creator community, U+BOOSTUS.
The participants visited Meta's local office, where they took part in a content production workshop and a session on global creator trends. They learned about content planning and production methods, platform utilization strategies, and ways to expand content reach. They also shared insights into content trends gaining attention on global platforms and production know-how.
They also had the opportunity to create content using the latest devices. Participants tried the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Meta Quest, exploring ways to incorporate new devices into content planning, filming, and production.
During their stay in Tokyo, the participants also directly used LG Uplus's roaming services, including Iksio Roaming Call and Roaming Pass. They plan to create content about the content production environment and roaming services they experienced in Japan, tailoring it to the characteristics of their respective channels.
U+BOOSTUS is a creator community that LG Uplus has operated since 2023. Creators directly use LG Uplus products and services, then create and introduce content from their own perspectives and in their own voices.
About 260 creators are currently active in the community, and they have produced more than 4,700 pieces of content to date. The content has generated approximately 150 million cumulative views and 1.18 million engagements.
Kim Hee-jin, head of LG Uplus's Brand Marketing Team, said, "We will continue to expand educational and collaboration opportunities so that creators can directly experience new technologies and global content trends and enhance their creative capabilities."
