[Financial News] LOTTE rental received the highest rating for the second consecutive year at an international competition evaluating the effectiveness of information delivery in sustainability reports. Its ranking among entries worldwide also rose by 24 places from the previous year. The company is strengthening communication with stakeholders by disclosing its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management results, ranging from eco-friendly services to safety management and corporate governance.
LOTTE rental said on the 21st that its 2024 Sustainability Report, published last June, won the Grand Award at the 2025–2026 LACP Vision Awards organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
The LACP Vision Awards is a competition that evaluates sustainability reports, promotional materials, and other internal and external communication materials published by companies, government agencies, and organizations worldwide.
LOTTE rental received perfect scores in seven of the eight evaluation categories, winning the Grand Award—the highest rating—in the digital and online report category for the second consecutive year. It also received a Gold Award in the automotive and parts industry category.
In the Top 100 Reports selection, which recognizes outstanding entries, LOTTE rental ranked 65th worldwide and 38th in the Asia-Pacific region. Those rankings were up 24 and 10 places, respectively, from 89th and 48th the previous year. The report was also selected for the Korea Top 20 Reports and the Outstanding Technical Achievement Reports.
In the environmental section, the award-winning report covered the expansion of eco-friendly products and services, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy use, and resource-circulation achievements through recycling. The social section introduced efforts to improve corporate culture, manage customer and employee safety, and promote consumer-focused management. The governance section centered on shareholder-friendly policies, transparent information disclosure, and a risk management system.
Since publishing its first sustainability report in 2022, LOTTE rental has issued reports for five consecutive years through this year. In June this year, it released its 2025 Sustainability Report. The full report is available on the sustainability management page of the company's website.
A LOTTE rental official said, "Winning the Grand Award for two consecutive years and moving up in the global rankings reflect recognition of both our ESG management performance and the way we communicate it. We will continue to transparently disclose our ESG management strategies and results to stakeholders and establish ourselves as a company trusted by customers and the market."
