Nexa Dynamics Secures First Overseas Contract After Management Reshuffle, Signs AI Server Supply Agreement with Japanese Company

[Financial News] KOSDAQ-listed Nexa Dynamics has secured its first overseas supply contract since its management reshuffle and is moving to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) server and data center infrastructure businesses.
Nexa Dynamics announced on the 21st that it had signed a $1.15 million (approximately KRW 1.55 billion) contract to supply AI servers and accessories to an IT company based in Japan. The customer's name was not disclosed at the counterparty's request for confidentiality.
The contract was signed just two days after the company officially approved its transition into a specialized AI server and data center manufacturer and formed a new board at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 14th. The terms require a substantial portion of the supply payment to be made before shipment. According to the official purchase order (PO), a substantial portion of the total contract value of $1.15 million will be paid by telegraphic transfer (T/T) before shipment, while the balance will be settled within five business days after product inspection.
A company representative said, "The advance-payment terms reflect the customer's confidence in our supply chain and product quality," adding, "We will pursue follow-up orders and expand supply based on stable cash flow."
At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 14th, Nexa Dynamics brought in new executives with experience in semiconductors, servers, telecommunications and data centers. CEO Lee Kang-chil previously served as a vice president at SK hynix and currently heads Ticon. Inside director Lee Dong-han is a former executive managing director at Intel Korea. Inside director Kim Hu-jong previously headed SK Telecom's Service Technology Institute and served as an executive vice president at Huawei. Inside director Lee Sang-min served as head of the technology division at LG Uplus and is currently an AI professor at Gachon University. 
Starting with this supply contract in Japan, Nexa Dynamics plans to gradually expand its supply of AI servers and equipment to customers at home and abroad. The company aims to establish an order and revenue base this year and fully activate its in-house manufacturing capabilities next year.
The company will use the KRW 13 billion raised through a fully paid-in rights offering to expand its manufacturing infrastructure. A dedicated assembly line for AI GPU servers, currently being built on approximately 2,000 pyeong of land in the Sihwa Industrial Complex, is targeted to complete trial production in the fourth quarter of this year and begin full-scale mass production in 2027.
Nexa Dynamics also plans to supply servers to the large-scale hyperscale data center in Dangjin being developed by its affiliate, DCK Group, as well as to an urban edge data center in the Seoul metropolitan area. Through these projects, the company aims to secure both orders from external customers and demand from its affiliates.
CEO Lee Kang-chil said, "The Japanese supply contract signed immediately after the launch of the new board demonstrates that our industry network has translated into an actual overseas order," adding, "In 2026, we will establish a stable order base, and in 2027, we will strengthen our competitiveness as an AI server manufacturer by linking finished-server production at the Sihwa plant with our data center infrastructure business."
