BGF Retail Holds 'Children's Safety Drawing Contest' with the Korean National Police Agency and Others

[Financial News] BGF Retail, which operates the CU convenience store chain, is holding the sixth Children's Safety Drawing Contest with the Korean National Police Agency and the National Center for the Rights of the Child (NCRC) through the 21st of next month.
According to BGF Retail on the 20th, the contest is being held in three categories—child safety in everyday life, prevention of child disappearances, and prevention of child abuse—to mark the Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse on Nov. 19.
Kindergarteners and elementary school students may enter individually or as part of a group. They must submit online scanned copies of colored drawings on 8-jeol or 4-jeol drawing paper through the Children's Safety Drawing Contest website.
Judging will be conducted in three groups within each category: kindergarten, lower elementary, and upper elementary. Winners will be announced in November after internal judging and a nationwide public vote on social networking services (SNS).
Grand prize winners in each category will receive a 500,000-won scholarship and awards including the BGF Retail CEO's Award, the Minister of Health and Welfare's Award, and the Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency's Award.
