[Financial News] G-MAX Chairman Jeong Seong-woo won the Grand Prize in the Sharing Category of the 18th Busan Metropolitan City Social Contribution Award at a ceremony commemorating the 27th Social Welfare Day and the 33rd Busan Welfare Month, held in the conference hall of Busan City Hall on the 18th.
The Busan Metropolitan City Social Contribution Award was established to identify and honor individuals who have devoted themselves to the development of the local community and the spread of a culture of sharing, while promoting the value of social contribution.
Chairman Jeong Seong-woo has made continuous donations through personal and corporate contributions since joining the Honor Society of Busan as its 15th member in 2012. In particular, he served as chairman of the Honor Society of Busan from 2020 to 2024, leading exchanges among members and sharing activities. He also encouraged about 50 people, including family members and acquaintances, to join the Honor Society and participate in charitable giving, helping expand the culture of major donations in Busan.
Chairman Jeong Seong-woo said, "Sharing is never something one can do alone, and I was able to stand here because of the Honor Club members who have been with me." He added, "I will continue to do my utmost in the role I can play so that Busan's sharing DNA can spread even more widely."
For his contributions to the development of Busan's economy and the spread of a culture of giving, Chairman Jeong Seong-woo received the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit in 2025 and a Minister of Health and Welfare Commendation at the Korea Sharing National Award in 2024.
