Iran Throws End-of-War Conditions to the U.S.... "Waiting for Trump's Answer"

[Financial News] Attention is focused on whether the war between the United States and Iran, which has been ongoing for seven months, will enter a negotiation phase. Iran announced that it has officially conveyed three major conditions to the United States—the end of the war, the release of frozen funds, and the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade—and is awaiting a response from U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to foreign media reports on the 19th (local time), Iranian Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary General Mohsen Rezaee stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that he had conveyed conditions to Washington, D.C., through a mediator to end the war with the United States and resume negotiations.
The conditions proposed by Secretary General Rezaee include the end of the war on all fronts, the release of Iran's frozen funds, and the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade. He stated, "We are continuing to be in contact with the mediating country Qatar, and Qatar has conveyed our conditions for ending the war to Washington, D.C.," adding that he is awaiting a response from President Trump.
Qatar and Pakistan are continuing mediation efforts to resume negotiations between the two sides following the expiration of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran last month.
This proposal comes amid a recent situation in which the United States and Iran are seeking a diplomatic exit while simultaneously engaging in a military standoff. President Trump also made remarks on the 16th to the effect that he hopes the war with Iran will move toward an end.
However, it is unclear whether the United States will accept the conditions proposed by Iran. In particular, as the United States continues its naval blockade of ships entering and leaving Iranian ports, the issue of lifting the blockade is expected to become a key point of contention in the negotiations.
While expressing a willingness to negotiate, Secretary General Rezaee also presented a hardline stance in preparation for the possibility that the United States might not accept the conditions. He stated that it would be in the United States' best interest to accept Iran's terms and declared that Iran is prepared to continue the war.
Iran has stated that it wants an end to the war despite the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Ansar Allah (Houthis) in Yemen. Secretary General Rezaee stated, "Tehran wants the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen to end." However, as Ansar Allah (Houthis) have recently expanded their attacks targeting the Saudi capital Riyadh and energy facilities, the front in the Middle East is actually widening.
