Shinhan Bank to Provide 100 Billion Won in Financial Support to Promising Technology Companies in North Chungcheong Province

[Financial News] Shinhan Bank announced on the 20th that it had signed the 'S+BASE Financial Support Agreement for Fostering Advanced Industries' with North Chungcheong Province and KOTEC on the 18th at the North Chungcheong Provincial Government Office in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. The agreement aims to support the growth of promising technology companies in the region and foster future industries.
The agreement's name, 'S+BASE,' combines the first letters of Startup, Bio & medical, Advanced materials, Semiconductor, and Equipment & parts.
The signing ceremony was attended by Shinhan Bank President Jung Sang-hyuk, North Chungcheong Province Governor Shin Yong-han, and KOTEC Chairman Kwon Hyeong-taek, along with other local business leaders, including Cha Tae-hwan, chairman of the North Chungcheong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council; Lee Sang-chan, chairman of the North Chungcheong Business Association; Chae Seok-byung, chairman of the North Chungcheong Venture Business Association; and Koo Ja-kyoon, vice chairman for general affairs of INNOBIZ's North Chungcheong branch.
The agreement was established to facilitate funding for companies with outstanding technological capabilities and strong growth potential in the relevant industries, while supporting the development of North Chungcheong's future industries.
