[Financial News] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 20th that it held the '2026 Chuseok Traditional Market Love-Sharing' event on the 18th at Yeongdeungpo Market in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, to revitalize traditional markets and support underprivileged neighbors ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
The 'Traditional Market Love-Sharing' event is part of KB Financial Group Inc.'s 'KB National Happiness Hope Project.' It has continued for 16 years since 2011, and to date, goods worth approximately 18.2 billion won have been purchased and delivered to 266,000 households nationwide.
During this event, groceries and daily necessities were purchased at more than 70 traditional markets nationwide, including Yeongdeungpo Market, and delivered to approximately 14,000 households in local welfare facilities and vulnerable groups, thereby promoting traditional markets and practicing community sharing. On this day, key guests and officials, including Ko Deok-gyun, vice president of KB Kookmin Bank's Gangnam Sales Promotion Group, visited Yeongdeungpo Market to personally purchase holiday goods and convey warm messages of support to market merchants.
A financial fraud prevention campaign was also conducted on-site in conjunction with the Financial Supervisory Service's '2026 Pan-Financial Sector Voice Phishing Prevention Week.' Financial consumer protection activities were carried out by providing market merchants and visitors with information on major financial fraud methods and prevention tips.
