Busan Metropolitan City Government to Hold Residents' Briefing on Saenggok Incineration Plant on the Evening of the 21st

[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City Government announced on the 20th that it will hold a residents' briefing on the Saenggok Village metropolitan incineration facility expansion project at 7 p.m. on the 21st at Gangdong-dong Administrative Welfare Center. The project involves building a metropolitan incineration facility with a daily processing capacity of 500 tons, along with community benefit facilities, in and around 9-3, Saenggok-gil 26beon-gil, Gangseo District, Busan.
At the briefing, Busan Metropolitan City Government plans to address residents' questions and explain every aspect of the project, starting with its implementation process. In particular, it will provide detailed information on the project's progress and environmental safety, which are among residents' main concerns. Administrative materials, including official documents and review materials, will also be made public.
Sim Jae-min, head of the Environmental and Water Policy Office, said, "We understand the aspects that residents are worried and concerned about," adding, "At the briefing, we will actively communicate with residents and show the facts as transparently as possible."
