Rain to Stop in Jeju Province, Daytime High of 29°C... Offshore Waves Up to 3.5 m

The daytime high will rise to 29°C, but the gap between daytime and nighttime temperatures will remain large for the time being. Offshore waves are expected to reach up to 3.5 meters.
According to the Jeju Regional Meteorological Office on the 20th, skies over Jeju Province will be mostly cloudy before gradually clearing from the morning.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 27–29°C. By area, temperatures will rise to 27°C in Jeju City, Seongsan, and Gosan, and to 29°C in Seogwipo.
Temperatures in the mountainous areas will be lower than along the coast. Forecast daytime highs are 25°C in Sancheondan, 26°C in Hannam, and 23°C in Seongpanak.
Mostly clear weather is also expected from the 21st through the 23rd. However, clouds are forecast to gather occasionally, especially over the mountainous areas of Hallasan.
On the morning of the 21st, coastal temperatures are expected to be 21–22°C, with daytime highs of 26–28°C. In the mountainous areas, morning temperatures will fall to 16°C in Seongpanak and 19°C in Sancheondan and Hannam.
On the 22nd and 23rd, morning temperatures along the coast will remain around 21°C, while temperatures in some mountainous areas will drop to 15–18°C.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 26–28°C on the 22nd and 26–27°C on the 23rd. Despite the clear weather, a significant temperature gap between morning and daytime is expected to continue.
People should be cautious of high waves at sea. On the 20th, wave heights in the waters off Jeju Province are expected to be 1.0–2.5 meters. In the southeastern inner offshore waters and southern outer offshore waters off Jeju Province, wave heights are forecast to rise to 1.5–3.5 meters for a time in the morning.
Waves of up to 2.5 meters are also expected in the southwestern inner offshore waters off Jeju Province. As strong winds and high waves are expected to continue, particularly in offshore waters, people should check marine weather information when navigating, fishing, or engaging in marine leisure activities.
Marine conditions are expected to gradually improve from the 21st. Wave heights in the waters off Jeju Province are forecast at 0.5–2.0 meters on the 21st, 0.5–2.5 meters on the 22nd, and 0.5–2.5 meters on the 23rd.
Daytime highs in Jeju Province on the 19th ranged from 26.0°C to 29.3°C. Many areas recorded higher temperatures than the seasonal average daytime highs of 25.6–26.9°C.
The Korean Meteorological Administration forecast that clouds will occasionally gather, particularly in the mountainous areas, and that the gap between daytime and nighttime temperatures will remain large for the time being.
