Hotel Shilla to Open Its Fourth Shilla Monogram in Hanoi, Accelerating Global Expansion

[Financial News] Hotel Shilla is accelerating its global expansion by opening its fourth Shilla Monogram property in Hanoi, Vietnam.
According to industry sources on the 20th, Hotel Shilla will open Shilla Monogram Hanoi Westlake in Hanoi’s Starlake district on the 23rd of next month. It will be the fourth Shilla Monogram property, following locations in Da Nang, Gangneung and Xi'an, China.
Shilla Monogram is an upper-upscale lifestyle hotel brand that draws on The Shilla’s service expertise while reflecting the culture and lifestyle of each location. After launching in Da Nang, Vietnam, in 2020, the brand opened in Gangneung in July last year and entered Xi'an, China, in February this year.
Starlake, where Shilla Monogram Hanoi Westlake will be located, is a new urban area linking downtown Hanoi with Noi Bai International Airport. Administrative, business and residential functions are concentrated there, while the relocation of government offices and the development of a diplomatic complex are also underway. The company said the area is well positioned to attract business demand because major offices of global companies are located nearby. 
Shilla Monogram Hanoi Westlake will operate as a five-star hotel with a total of 319 rooms. Its three-dimensional design, inspired by Vietnam’s traditional terraced rice fields, combines local culture with a modern atmosphere. In addition to Deluxe Rooms, the standard room category, the hotel’s top floor will feature Signature Suites offering views of downtown Hanoi.
The hotel will have five dining facilities in total. They include Dining M, a 234-seat all-day dining restaurant; Pastry M, a bakery café; Jinji, a Korean restaurant; Haseongo, a Chinese restaurant; and Bar M, a rooftop bar. Jinji will have six private rooms to serve business customers and small-group gatherings.
The Monogram Lounge will be located on the 35th floor. It will offer breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour services for business guests, as well as a separate meeting room. Other amenities include banquet facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a spa.
Through its entry into Hanoi, Hotel Shilla plans to expand its presence in the northern Vietnam market and strengthen Shilla Monogram’s global brand competitiveness.
