IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY Hosts Korean Cultural Experience with Pony Chung Foundation's Vietnamese Scholars and Multicultural Youths

[Financial News] IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY held activities featuring traditional Korean culture and cultural exchange for youths from multicultural families.
According to IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY on the 18th, the company organized a cultural-exchange field trip so that youths from multicultural families could experience Korean culture and learn about diverse cultural backgrounds.
Participants included approximately 30 students from Korean-language schools for multicultural families supported by the Multicultural Youth Association, eight Vietnamese scholarship recipients of the Pony Chung Foundation, and eight employees of IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY and Shilla IPARK Duty Free.
The field trip was organized to give youths from multicultural families the opportunity to experience various aspects of Korean culture firsthand and understand one another's cultures through interaction with the Pony Chung Foundation's Vietnamese scholars and company employees.
Participants shared their experiences and cultures during a cultural discussion session and a meal. They then visited a mother-of-pearl workshop in Seoul's Jongno District to experience traditional Korean crafts. The youths made mother-of-pearl handicrafts themselves and learned about the characteristics and beauty of traditional culture.
An official from IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY said, "We hope this field trip will give youths from multicultural families an opportunity to encounter diverse cultures naturally and understand one another," adding, "We will continue to expand our community service activities to support the growth of future generations and help diverse cultures coexist harmoniously."
