SH Para Rowing Team Wins Eight Gold and Silver Medals at National Para Sports Festival

[Financial News] Seoul Housing & Urban Development (SH) said its workplace para rowing team won a total of eight medals—six gold and two silver—in the rowing events at the 46th National Para Sports Festival, held at the Chungju Tangeum Lake International Rowing Course.
SH established its para rowing team in April 2019, making it the first workplace sports team for people with disabilities among South Korean public institutions. The team consists of six elite athletes, including Ha Jae-heon, a former Army staff sergeant who lost both legs in a 2015 wooden-box mine explosion in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
At this year's competition, every member of the SH rowing team won a medal, demonstrating the team's strength. Sun-woong Choi swept both the individual and team events, taking home three gold medals. Ha Jae-heon won one team-event gold medal; Lee Seung-ho, one individual-event gold medal; Nam Ji-hyeon, one team-event gold medal; Choi Beom-seo, one team-event gold medal and one individual silver medal; and Seong Ji-hoon, one team-event gold medal and one individual silver medal.
Hwang Sang-ha, president of SH, said, "We will continue to actively support the para rowing team, put into practice our commitment to 'walking alongside the vulnerable,' and take the lead in promoting the social participation of people with disabilities and protecting their rights."
