Seoul Namdaemun Police Station Partners with Dunfield and Chamsuri Sarang Foundation to Support Vulnerable Groups and Injured Police Officers

[Financial News] Police are joining forces with fashion company Dunfield and Chamsuri Sarang Foundation to support vulnerable groups and police officers injured in the line of duty.
According to police on the 18th, Seoul Namdaemun Police Station signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dunfield and Chamsuri Sarang Foundation at around 2 p.m. that day to support vulnerable groups and police officers injured in the line of duty.
Under the agreement, Dunfield will donate a total of 10 million won. Items worth 7 million won will be delivered to Namsanwon, a social welfare organization, to improve the children's living and learning environments. The remaining 3 million won will be entrusted to Chamsuri Sarang Foundation to help police officers who were injured or otherwise require support as a result of their work.
Before the signing ceremony, Dunfield delivered items worth 7 million won to Namsanwon. Chamsuri Sarang Foundation will select recipients based on recommendations from Seoul Namdaemun Police Station and provide up to 500,000 won per person to police officers who need consolation and support because of line-of-duty or other injuries. Dunfield also agreed to continue making annual donations to support police officers.
Seoul Namdaemun Police Station expects the agreement to expand private-sector support for vulnerable members of the local community, as well as for police officers who work on the front lines to protect public safety.
Ham Gyeong-cheol, chief of Seoul Namdaemun Police Station, said, "I thank Dunfield and Chamsuri Sarang Foundation for putting warm community giving into practice," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost to help vulnerable groups and improve police welfare through cooperation between companies and foundations."
