Busan Community Chest of Korea Delivers 1.2 Billion Won in Special Livelihood Support Funds to Busan Metropolitan City for Chuseok

[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City held a ceremony with the Busan Community Chest of Korea at the ceremonial reception room of City Hall on the 18th to deliver special livelihood support funds for Chuseok.
To help low-income and vulnerable residents in the region achieve greater financial stability and enjoy a warm holiday, the Busan Community Chest of Korea donated a total of 1.2 billion won in special livelihood support funds to Busan Metropolitan City for the Chuseok holiday.
Of the donation, 1.13 billion won will be provided to 11,300 low-income and vulnerable households, with each household receiving 100,000 won. The remaining 70 million won will be distributed to two jjokbang counseling centers in Dong District and Busanjin District, with each receiving 35 million won to support jjokbang residents during the holiday.
Mayor Chun Jae-soo said, "I thank the Busan Community Chest of Korea for practicing warm-hearted giving for neighbors in need every year. I hope these funds will provide strong support to those facing difficulties and help everyone enjoy a warm and abundant Chuseok."
