Senior Superintendent General Park Jae-hwa Takes Office as 24th Chief of Namhae Regional Coast Guard

[Financial News] Senior Superintendent General Park Jae-hwa has taken office as the 24th chief of the Namhae Regional Coast Guard.
The Namhae Regional Coast Guard said on the 18th that its new chief visited Gijang Patrol Station of the Busan Coast Guard as his first official schedule, in place of an inauguration ceremony. Inspecting the coastal search site, he urged personnel, "Please do your utmost at the scene so that the missing person can return to their family as soon as possible."
Chief Park graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Korea University and earned a master's degree in public administration from the University of Colorado. He entered public service after passing the 42nd National Administrative Examination. He has served as chief of the Ulsan Coast Guard, planning and finance officer at the Korea Coast Guard headquarters, director of the Safety Management Division at the Namhae Regional Coast Guard, and director of the Rescue and Safety Bureau at the Korea Coast Guard headquarters.
