GIWA Ecosystem Adds TCG On-Chain Use Case... GIWA and Renaiss Complete Technical Integration

[Financial News] A new on-chain use case for collectible physical assets, including trading card games (TCGs), has been added to the GIWA ecosystem.

Renaiss, which develops on-chain infrastructure for TCGs and collectibles, announced on the 18th that it had completed the technical integration of its Card Machine application with GIWATER, a decentralized exchange (DEX) participating in "GASOK," the ecosystem incubation program of GIWA Chain, Upbit's Layer 2 chain.
The integration makes Renaiss's Card Machine service available on the GIWATER testnet. According to the two companies, GIWATER is the first domestic DEX to integrate Renaiss's Card Machine application, while Renaiss is the first external application to be integrated with the GIWATER testnet.
GIWA is an Ethereum Layer 2 network based on the OP Stack. It supports the development of various on-chain applications and asset services through fast processing speeds and low transaction costs. The network is pursuing the expansion of its Web3 application ecosystem, primarily in the Korean market.
The integration includes Renaiss's "Proof of Fair"-based fairness verification technology and a third-party verification structure for card inventory. This allows external parties to verify the fairness of random results generated during use of the Card Machine, as well as whether the actual card inventory exists.
A GIWATER official explained, "The distinguishing feature of this integration is that it provides users with a basis for verifying the results and inventory, rather than requiring them to rely solely on the operator's explanation. This is a step toward building the trust needed when experiencing physical collectibles through digital services."

For GIWATER, which is developing liquidity and asset-trading infrastructure on the GIWA network, the integration also serves as a test case for the possibility that collectible physical assets such as TCGs can be combined with on-chain applications, moving beyond existing digital assets.
The official said, "Bringing TCGs and collectibles on-chain starts with creating a trustworthy connection between physical cards and digital experiences. Starting with this testnet integration, we want to explore the potential for this to lead to price discovery and distribution of collectibles, while expanding the range of assets accessible through GIWA."
Meanwhile, the two companies plan to consider further cooperation on various on-chain use cases, including TCGs and collectibles, within the GIWA ecosystem. Renaiss will also participate in domestic Web3 events such as Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) and continue expanding ecosystem cooperation in the Korean market.
