According to KOVA on the 18th, HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang, LB Investment CEO Park Ki-ho, Geumyong Machinery CEO Lee Jun-hyeok, and Musicow Chair Jung Hyun-kyung joined as vice chairs at the Third Regular Board Meeting of 2026, held that day. In particular, KOVA expects HYBE, a leader in the global K-pop and content industries, to join as a vice-chair company and expand connections and cooperation between the content industry and the venture ecosystem.
KOVA plans to establish a foundation for cooperation by linking the sector-specific experience and expertise of the new executive member companies. This will include promoting startups in emerging industries, supporting venture-company growth, expanding investment and business partnerships, and improving policies and institutions.
KOVA Chair Song Byeong-jun said, "For the venture ecosystem to continue developing, new startups and innovation must continue to emerge across a wide range of industries. With innovative companies representing various fields, including HYBE, newly joining KOVA as executive members, we will expand connections and cooperation across industries and build an ecosystem in which new venture companies can be launched and grow across various fields."
