[Financial News] YK Law Firm is joining forces with EverEx, an AI-based digital healthcare company, to establish a cooperative framework covering everything from preventing corporate employees' musculoskeletal disorders to providing legal support for occupational safety and health matters.
YK Law Firm announced on the 18th that it had signed an MOU with EverEx and would pursue a corporate support model combining EverEx's musculoskeletal-focused digital healthcare technology with YK's legal expertise in occupational safety, health and labor matters.
The agreement focuses on linking employee health management with companies' occupational safety and health management systems rather than treating it merely as an employee benefit. Using EverEx's AI-based musculoskeletal health management solution, MORA Care, the two companies plan to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and connect YK's specialized legal advice to legal needs related to occupational safety, health and work-related diseases that may arise in the process.
EverEx is a digital healthcare company specializing in musculoskeletal care, founded by CEO Yoon, an orthopedic specialist who graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine. Its flagship solution, MORA Care, uses AI technology to manage the musculoskeletal health of corporate employees and help prevent related diseases.
MORA Care won a CES Innovation Award at CES 2026 and has been adopted by manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, medical institutions and public organizations, as well as major companies including Samsung and LG.
The two companies will conduct legal reviews and provide advice so that health management data and outcome reports generated through MORA Care can be used in companies' occupational safety and health activities. Their review will cover responses to relevant regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, as well as the legal scope and considerations for using the outcome reports.
They will also jointly provide corporate training and webinars on occupational safety and health.
YK Law Firm plans to apply its practical experience in industrial accidents and work-related diseases to the partnership. The cooperation will also expand to overseas operations. Based on their collaboration for companies in South Korea, the two parties agreed to jointly address various legal issues, including contracts and regulations, that may arise from EverEx's business and investment activities in the United States. The goal is to extend YK Law Firm's corporate legal advisory capabilities to the overseas expansion of digital healthcare companies.
Kang Kyung-hoon, a representative attorney at YK Law Firm, said, "Preventing and managing musculoskeletal disorders in companies is an important task not only for workers' health but also for the effective operation of occupational safety and health systems." He added, "By combining EverEx's digital healthcare technology with YK's expertise in occupational safety and labor matters, we will support companies so that they can respond systematically from the prevention stage."
